I'm free for the moment, so I thought I would take the time to post up this week's information.
I am sooooooooo tired. I stayed up late last night studying and woke up at 5:30 this morning to keep studying. And I still think I did poorly on that test. Out of all the students, only one has ever gotten a B on a test without extra credit, so that made the rest of us all feel a little bit better.
So far, this Wednesday will be taken up by spending time with my mentoring student. Saturday is the Dutch fest at school and helping Fawn-san out with the latest Tales Brigade quest. We're cosplaying as KoR characters and going around the campus asking people about kor. Since we don't think that many people will even know of the Tales titles, we posted some people to pretend to be normal civilans for questioning.
Friday and Sunday, as far as I can tell, are free for the time being, though that will most likely change during the week.
One of the more exciting quests on the Tales Brigade is giving gald to a friend. Everyone's making such a big deal over it there, even though you get a 2,000 gald for the quest, meaning you get a 1,000, plus your return. --
I read the first 11 chapters of Nabari no Ou during my free time, since I didn't bother bringing my PSP or any of my homework *fails*. I prefer the anime art, but the manga is easier to get through for some reason. Miharu-kun is adorable, and I like all the little 'devil' scenes where the outfit him in a chibi-devil look. I also like Yoite because he has good fashion sense and looks cool. *shallow*
I'll probably start up watching the anime again come winter break. Right now it's hard enough just to keep up with Tales of the Abyss. And Vampire Knight and Skip Beat? Yeaaaah. I still have Itazura na Kiss to finish, but I think that's all from the last season, unless I count the two eps of World Destruction I skipped; and the fact that I never saw ep 26 or 1 with subtitles.
Indifferent or wussy characters seems to be becoming the norm in Japan, or maybe it's just something I keep running into. Kyrie...Emil...Miharu... I like that genre, so it's ok, but it's still kind of weird.
JET crap to finish tonight, so I'll be online but busy. I can't wait till I have a freer schedule and less stuff to worry about. |

I watched all of Nabari no Ou, but for some reason I didn't really like it. It was so strange. I'm not really sure why I finished it... I liked Kouichi and Raimei, though~
Join the club. I've been dealing with complicated (not hard, just time-consuming and complicated) homework all semester. Two things due this week, one the day before Thanksgiving, then three the first week of December (last week of this semester for me, whoohoo!). The big stuff are: client search project where I had to look up stuff and organize it for a real person, my collection development plan for a fake library, and a 15-20 page paper on a facet of Library Management. Just keep this thought in the back of your mind: semester's almost over!
*grins* Man, you sound like you need to keep one of those pocket-planners so you can keep it on you at all times.
Does Nabari no Ou get any better? I was not impressed by the anime... Well, I'm going to find it hard to keep up with things too. I keep getting distracted and then finishing shows in chunks.
Can't wait for Thanksgiving... ^^
Broken record here. Pfft. I hope you get everything done.
I found Nabari no Ou (the anime) so boring that I dropped it :/ (Also, lots of gay vibes o.o;) I hope the manga's better.
It seems like this is the crazy time of the semester (not that it stops being crazy) ... this week is horrible for me too. | |
